Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting or equivalent environment
• Knowledge and understanding of educational best practices and current trends in education
• Proficient in use of technology for instruction and assessment purposes
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in both verbal and written form
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet academic standards set by the school board.
• Monitor student progress, modify instruction as needed, and encourage students to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching plans that improve student performance.
• Create positive learning environments that are conducive to learning for all students.
• Implement classroom management techniques that reinforce positive behaviors.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress including attendance, grades, assessments, etc.
