Welder - Khawr Fakkan

We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Khawr Fakkan. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with no experience to join our highly experienced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metals, assembling and repairing components, as well as inspecting work.

Job Description:
• Read blueprints/drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures;
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements;
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded;
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together;
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead);
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps;
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws; • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred but not required; • Must have excellent physical condition and coordination to handle the manual labor involved in this job; • Must be able to read blueprints/drawings accurately; • Experience working with metal fabrication tools such as grinders, drills etc.; • Knowledge of safety practices related to welding processes is essential.

Salary: 1500 AED per month
