Job Opportunity: Optometrist

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in El-Fujairah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive and specialized eye care services to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat vision conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia, using lenses and other optical aids
• Perform comprehensive eye exams using advanced diagnostic technology
• Explain the results of the exam to patients and provide them with guidance on how to properly care for their eyes
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, medications, or vision therapy as needed
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Keep accurate medical records of patient visits
• Educate patients on the importance of proper eye care and safety practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent certification
• Valid license to practice optometry in El-Fujairah and/or UAE-based qualifications required by the Ministry of Health
• Proven experience as an Optometrist or Optician in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of optical conditions, treatments, and tests used to diagnose them
• Outstanding communication skills with a compassionate bedside manner

Salary: 1400 AED/month. We are ready to consider a foreigner.
