We are looking for a motivated and reliable Librarian to join our team in Al Shamkhah City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no experience to join a well-established library and gain valuable experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining library collections, preparing materials for circulation, assisting patrons with their requests, and ensuring the library remains safe and secure. Your duties will include cataloging books, magazines, journals, newspapers and other items; making sure the library is clean and organized; answering patron inquiries; maintaining patron records; providing information about library services; helping patrons find reading material; assisting with special projects; preparing materials for circulation; issuing library cards; collecting overdue fines; and teaching classes.

To be considered for this position you must have excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. You should have working knowledge of computers as well as the ability to use a range of software programs related to library services. A background in education would be advantageous.
