As a Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This includes hiring staff, training them in customer service techniques, creating schedules, managing inventory levels, ensuring food safety standards are met, maintaining restaurant cleanliness and appearance standards, planning promotional activities for customers, monitoring financial performance of the restaurant and resolving customer complaints. Other duties include resolving staffing problems such as absenteeism or labor law issues; developing strategies to increase sales; creating weekly reports; attending meetings and responding promptly to customer inquiries.
