Job Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field;
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Phlebotomist;
• A valid medical license;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting;
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining accuracy;
• Exceptional problem-solving skills;

Job Duties:
As a Phlebotomist at our practice, your primary responsibility will be to collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or finger sticks. You will ensure that patient safety is maintained at all times throughout the process by following standard operating procedures and adhering to safety protocols. Additionally, you will label specimens accurately, process them according to protocol and enter test information into the laboratory system. You may also be required to answer questions from patients or their families regarding test results or other procedures. Furthermore, you may need to assist with other tasks as needed when requested by your supervisor or other clinical staff members.
