The Auto Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing electrical faults in cars, trucks and other automotive vehicles; repairing or replacing electrical components; testing the performance of vehicles; and completing other related tasks as required. The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of auto electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, current testing tools, ECUs, sensors, ABS systems and more. They should be able to troubleshoot complex problems quickly and efficiently using logical diagnostic techniques.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills as well as strong problem-solving abilities. They must also have experience with the use of hand tools including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers etc., as well as specialized diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters or oscilloscopes. A valid driver’s license is essential for this role in order to travel between locations if required.
