Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications to patients, providing information about medications and general health care related topics, and ensuring that all pharmacy laws and regulations are followed. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of inventory control systems and ordering of new materials and supplies when needed.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare medications by reviewing prescriptions; compounding; measuring; counting out; labeling doses; packaging; and verifying order entry for accuracy.
• Provide information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage conditions and other related information to customers or healthcare professionals
• Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
• Maintain patient records in accordance with state reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the handling of pharmaceuticals
• Monitor drug therapies by advising customers or healthcare professionals concerning their use
• Secure hazardous drugs according to company policies
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing orders as necessary.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university is required
• State license as a Pharmacist is required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form is essential

Salary: 1000 SAR per month
