Duties may include planning routes, loading and unloading cargo, maintaining vehicle condition, following traffic regulations, and keeping accurate logs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as well as good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.

Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license; no work experience is necessary. Candidates must also demonstrate an ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain focus while driving long distances. A clean driving record is essential for this position.
