Pharmacist - Doha

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. We offer a competitive salary of 1400 and are open to considering an immigrant for this position.

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing professional advice on the safe use of prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacy law, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to accurately interpret physician’s prescriptions.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
• Dispensing prescription medication orders following established policies and procedures
• Verifying accuracy of medication orders
• Answering patients’ questions about medications
• Offering advice on the selection, dosage, interactions, side effects, or storage of medications
• Compounding medications or preparing special dosage forms when necessary
• Maintaining records as required by law
• Consulting with physicians regarding drug indications, contraindications, interactions, allergies, and possible side effects
• Preparing insurance claim forms; handling cash transactions; balancing cash drawers; stocking shelves; ordering supplies as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field is required.
• Minimum work experience is not required but preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
