Job Description:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, fixtures, and equipment according to applicable codes in residential, commercial or industrial areas.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to determine the cause of a breakdown.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components as specified by electrical diagrams or blueprints.
Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED required; technical school degree preferred but not required • At least 1 year of experience as an electrician • Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings • Ability to use basic hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers) • Knowledge of local electrical codes • Good communication skills • Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems • Attention to detail & strong problem-solving skills Salary: 1600 per month
