Librarian job vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


We are looking for a diligent and knowledgeable individual to join our library in Abu-Dhabi as a Librarian. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all of the duties necessary to maintain the library's collection of books, journals, magazines, and other materials. This includes cataloging new items, maintaining existing records, shelving items correctly and helping patrons locate items in the library. Additionally, the librarian will be responsible for providing assistance to patrons with reference queries and help them with their research.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of cataloging systems and current library technologies. They should also have a passion for reading and learning and be able to provide helpful recommendations on various topics. The ability to work both independently and within a team is also highly desirable.
