The successful candidate will be responsible for welding components together using different methods, including manual and machine-aided welding. To be successful in this role, you should have 2 years of experience in welding and knowledge of different types of metals and their properties. You must also possess strong problem-solving skills as well as excellent attention to detail.

As a Welder, your duties include:
• Reading blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the specific welding requirements
• Setting up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cutting material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Using hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld metal parts
• Preparing and using jigs, welding torches and other equipment needed for the task
• Inspecting completed workpieces for gaps or other irregularities
• Testing completed welds and fixing any issues found during inspection
• Working with different metals such as steel, stainless steel or aluminum alloys
