Our company is seeking an Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented work ethic, and a strong financial background. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, bookkeeping duties, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving skills to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies in the books
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations
• Prepare invoices for customers or vendors as needed
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare payroll entries into the system on a regular basis
• Assist in preparing budgets for the company on an annual basis
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns according to local regulations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• At least 2 years of experience as an accountant or bookkeeper preferred but we are ready to consider an immigrant with no experience • Knowledgeable in QuickBooks or other accounting software programs • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
