Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Salary: 1300 AED/Month

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical design and analysis for civil engineering projects such as bridges, roads, buildings, etc.
• Participate in the planning and design of infrastructure projects such as water supply systems, sewage systems and stormwater management systems.
• Prepare detailed specifications for civil engineering works including materials selection and quantity estimates.
• Develop drawings using AutoCAD software for civil engineering projects.
• Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering projects and evaluate bids from contractors.
• Monitor construction progress on site visits to ensure adherence to plans and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice and safety standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required; Master's degree is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to use AutoCAD software for drawing production is a must; familiarity with other 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant international codes of practice (e.g., ACI code) is a must; knowledge of local codes of practice is preferred but not essential.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in civil engineering works is preferable but not required; fresh graduates may be considered as well as experienced candidates who are looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and develop their careers in this field.
