We are looking for a Librarian to join our library team in Dubai. This position offers an attractive salary of 900 per month. We welcome applications from foreigners who are interested in this role and we are willing to consider candidates with minimal work experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, digital media, and other resources. The Librarian will also be expected to provide assistance to patrons with their queries and direct them to the right information resources. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.

The job description includes but is not limited to: organizing books and other resources; cataloging resources in accordance with existing standards; enforcing library regulations; developing new programs for patrons; maintaining accurate records of circulation activity; developing better methods of resource organization; and providing research assistance.

Skills and qualifications required include: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field; strong verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of library operations and procedures; excellent computer proficiency including database management systems such as MARC or AACR2 formats; excellent research abilities; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; experience working in a library setting preferred but not required.
