Instrument Technician – Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This is a full-time role with a salary of 1300, and we are open to considering applicants from outside the country.

The Instrument Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation systems and components. The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation systems and components such as transducers, flow meters, pressure gauges, switches, valves and controllers.
• Analyze operating data to identify problems or malfunctions and determine needed action.
• Adjust functional parts of electronic instruments or systems using hand tools and soldering irons.
• Perform routine maintenance such as calibration checks on instruments and equipment.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems when needed.
• Maintain records such as test results, repair activities or other related documents.
• Provide technical support to other departments when requested.


Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent degree required; college degree preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role is required
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations related to industrial instrumentation systems
• Ability to read blueprints or wiring diagrams associated with instrumentation systems
• Proficient in the use of hand tools such as multimeters and soldering irons
