Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of electrical systems. The Electrical Engineer will also be responsible for assessing and improving the energy efficiency of existing systems. This role will require excellent analytical skills as well as strong communication skills to ensure that the electrical systems meet quality standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
• Designing, drafting and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, laws and regulations.
• Developing plans to implement new or improved electrical systems.
• Developing detailed schematics to identify wiring layouts and connection specifications.
• Providing technical advice on the selection of materials for specified products.
• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical components or equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Assessing existing electrical systems for energy efficiency and making recommendations for improvement where needed.
• Inspecting completed installations to ensure they comply with safety regulations and other standards in effect in the Doha area.
• Interacting effectively with clients to determine their needs and requirements as it relates to electrical projects.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution; Master's degree is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience designing, installing, maintaining and repairing electrical components or equipment; experience working on large projects is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of electrical codes, laws, regulations, standards etc related to Doha area; familiarity with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical skills; strong problem-solving ability is essential for this role
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; excellent communication abilities are also important for this role
