Job Responsibilities:
• Transport goods safely from one location to another using a truck or van
• Load/unload cargo by hand or using special equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Inspect vehicle before each trip for any mechanical issues or damages that need attention
• Ensure cargo is secured properly before departure and during transit
• Follow safety protocols at all times when operating the vehicle and transporting cargo
Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Experience in truck driving is preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy loads and operate special machinery as needed
• Good knowledge of local roads and highways • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
