Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Librarian to join our team in Dubai. In this position, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining library resources, performing research and providing reference services to library users. You will also be required to make recommendations on the selection of library materials, develop library programs, and maintain records of library activities. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be technology savvy and have a passion for providing excellent customer service. The position offers a salary of 1300 AED per month.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of library technology systems such as cataloguing software
- Knowledge of copyright laws
- Ability to plan and coordinate programs for youth or adult groups

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in a library setting who has strong organizational skills and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as knowledge of computers, maintenance systems, database management software, the Internet, etc. We are willing to consider applicants from outside the country who are able to meet the outlined criteria above.
