Sommelier Vacancy in Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a world-class wine program in our restaurant.

The ideal candidate should have a high level of knowledge about wines, including varietals, regions, and vintages, as well as experience in wine pairing. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with the restaurant team.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and update a comprehensive wine list for the restaurant
• Maintain stock levels of all wines offered
• Educate staff on wines and provide training on food and wine pairing
• Monitor wine sales trends and suggest new wines to customers
• Create promotional materials for different types of wines
• Advise customers on food and wine pairings
• Ensure that all wines are stored properly at the correct temperature
• Provide guests with expert advice on selections of speciality wines

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a sommelier in a fine-dining setting
• In-depth knowledge of regional, national, and internationalwine varieties
• Advanced understanding of winemaking techniques and styles
• Excellent communication skills with customers from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary: AED 1400 per month. We are open to consider foreign candidates for this position.
