Barista Vacancy - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be willing to take initiative and be able to work independently. We are ready to consider a foreigner for the position.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• 2+ years of experience as a Barista in specialty coffee shops
• Knowledge of specialty coffee brewing methods (espresso, Chemex, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience with cash register and point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required

Job Description:
The Barista will be responsible for preparing all coffee drinks according to company standards. This includes brewing espresso drinks, steaming milk, frothing milk as needed, making tea drinks, grinding coffee beans as needed, and cleaning and restocking the bar. The Barista will also provide excellent customer service by taking orders quickly and accurately, upselling items when possible, answering questions about menu items knowledgeably, and providing a friendly atmosphere for customers. The Barista is also responsible for keeping the bar area clean at all times including sweeping the floor periodically throughout their shift. They must adhere to all health regulations while preparing food items according to company standards. Finally, they must ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed at all times.

Salary: 1100 per month
