Job Summary:

We are currently looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. As an Optometrist you will be responsible for providing eye care services to patients and helping them choose the right glasses and contact lenses. You should possess excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the field and be ready to work in a dynamic environment. We offer a competitive salary package of 1200 AED.

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities as an Optometrist include conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, providing appropriate treatments such as prescribing corrective lenses or medications and educating patients on eye health care. You will also be required to help patients select the right glasses or contact lenses based on their individual needs, take measurements for eyeglasses frames and provide advice about eyewear maintenance. Additionally, you may be required to manage records related to appointments and treatments given to customers or other office tasks such as preparing reports or ordering supplies when needed.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in Optometry as well as a valid license issued by the local healthcare authorities in order to practice in Abu-Dhabi. In addition to this, he/she must have excellent customer service skills along with strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills in order to interact with customers effectively. Finally we would prefer someone who is open to working on weekends or evenings if necessary.
