Librarian job in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled worker


We are looking for a qualified Librarian to join our library in Abu-Dhabi. You will be responsible for managing the library and its resources, as well as providing information and assistance to patrons.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Library Science or Information Science, and at least two years of experience working in a library setting. Knowledge of cataloguing standards is essential.

As the Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, videos, audio recordings, and other materials. You will also be expected to develop and manage an online catalog system that allows patrons to easily search for items. In addition, you will provide reference services to patrons and assist them with locating materials.

You must have excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with patrons on a daily basis. You should also be organized and able to keep track of circulation statistics and other reports related to library operations.

The salary offered is 1500 AED per month; however we are willing to consider foreigners who have the necessary qualifications for this role.
