Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine boundaries for large areas of land. This includes using global positioning systems (GPS) and other surveying instruments to measure distances and angles between points on the earth's surface. In addition, they will conduct site inspections to ensure accuracy in the survey results. They will also prepare surveys for legal purposes or for proposed construction projects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or similar field
• 1+ years of experience in land surveying; knowledge of local regulations preferred
• Proficiency in operating survey equipment and instruments such as GPS systems and transits
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interpret maps accurately
