The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of mathematics, be detail-oriented, and have a friendly personality.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working as a Cashier
• Excellent knowledge of basic mathematics
• Knowledge of cash register systems and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A friendly demeanor with customers and colleagues alike
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency

Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers courteously upon their arrival at the store
• Processing payments accurately using cash registers or other payment processing equipment
• Balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Counting money in the cash drawer at the start of each shift to ensure accuracy
• Accepting customer returns and issuing refunds when necessary
• Receiving payments via credit cards, checks, or other payment methods
• Answering customer questions regarding products or services offered
• Assisting with stocking shelves or unloading trucks when needed
