Dental Assistant, Sharjah

We are a dental clinic in Sharjah looking for a Dental Assistant to help us provide excellent customer service and ensure our patients have a positive experience. We are willing to consider immigrants and those with no prior experience. The position offers a salary of 1300.

The Dental Assistant's primary responsibility is to provide chair-side assistance to the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, in addition to providing patient care and education. The successful candidate must be able to work with precision and accuracy while maintaining an organized work area.

Essential duties:
•Prepare treatment rooms for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
•Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures as required
•Assist with sterilization processes and infection control measures
•Ensure instruments are cleaned, maintained, and organized according to prescribed protocols
•Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
•Maintain patient electronic records
•Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or clinic manager

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification as a dental assistant is preferred but not necessary. •Knowledge of basic computer software such as MS Word is beneficial. •Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) are essential. •The ability to remain professional, courteous, and compassionate when interacting with patients is important. •Must have the physical ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, reach, twist, push/pull objects up to 20lbs., lift objects up to 50lbs., and carry objects up to 50lbs.
