Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Librarian will be to provide library services, including cataloguing, researching, reference services, circulation services, interlibrary loans and special collections. The librarian will be responsible for maintaining library materials including books, periodicals, electronic resources and audio-visual materials. The position also requires the ability to maintain accurate records for library statistics such as circulation figures and item availability. Other duties include providing instruction on library resources to students and faculty members as well as giving presentations on various topics related to the field of librarianship.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess at least 3 years of professional experience in a library setting or a related field. They should have strong organizational skills with attention to detail and be comfortable using computers for cataloguing purposes. A degree or diploma in Library Science or Information Studies is preferred but not essential for this role. Additionally, excellent communication skills are needed in order to interact effectively with staff members at all levels within the organization as well as external stakeholders when required.
