Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Chef to join our team at a Dibba-El-Fujairah hotel. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of all food production operations in our kitchen. Your main duties will include planning menus, creating recipes, designing and managing food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and supervising other kitchen staff. You must have excellent knowledge of different cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Additionally, you should be able to manage a team and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent understanding of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
• Good knowledge of various cooking methods (grilling, baking etc.)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work well with others in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with industry’s best practices and safety standards
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledgeable in hygiene regulations

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations in the kitchen such as planning menus, creating recipes and designing new dishes. • Ensure quality standards are met by performing regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes.
• Supervise other kitchen staff members including preparation team members.
• Control costs by monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies when needed. • Monitor stock levels of food items needed for menu items. • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety guidelines. • Develop new recipes to keep up with customer needs.
