Truck Driver Job in Abu Dhabi

Salary: 1200 AED

We are currently looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi. We are open to considering a foreign candidate for the position. The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience driving trucks or other large vehicles
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must have knowledge of road rules and regulations in the UAE
• Must be able to pass a medical check-up
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is preferred but not required
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Must be punctual and reliable

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Drive trucks or other large vehicles safely over specified routes according to schedule
• Load and unload cargo on trucks according to safety regulations
• Inspect vehicle regularly for mechanical defects before each trip
• Monitor cargo condition during transport as well as obey all traffic laws while on the road
• Maintain log books that record travel times, locations, cargo information, fuel purchases, vehicle maintenance, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Excellent driving skills with the ability to drive for long hours with concentration • Good knowledge of geography and roads in the UAE • Good communication skills with the ability to work in teams or independently • Good customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with customers • Able to lift heavy weights up to 25kgs when needed
