Orthodontist job in Abu-Dhabi UAE


Orthodontist sought to join a well-established dental practice in Abu-Dhabi. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in orthodontic treatments. Salary will be 900 AED. Foreigners are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis and treatment planning, and provide clinical excellence in the execution of orthodontic treatments. Responsibilities include:

- Examine patients' teeth and jaws for irregularities, such as overcrowding, incorrect jaw position and misaligned bites
- Take x-rays and photographs of the teeth, face and jaw
- Use specialized tools to diagnose and treat disorders
- Design and fit dental appliances such as braces, retainers or headgear to straighten or correct irregularities
- Advise patients on proper oral hygiene habits that will help maintain healthy teeth after treatment is completed
- Educate patients on healthy diet choices that may impact the health of their teeth
- Monitor progress of patients' orthodontic treatments
- Prepare laboratory forms for the fabrication of appliances
- Document patient records accurately

Applicants must possess a relevant qualification from an accredited institution with strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
