Job Title: Florist

Location: Abu-Dhabi, UAE
Salary: 1300 AED/month

We are looking for a passionate and creative Florist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a solid knowledge and experience of flower care, design, and arranging.

Job Responsibilities:
• Design and arrange floral bouquets, arrangements, and other decorations as requested by customers.
• Take orders from customers via phone, email or in person for custom floral arrangements.
• Purchase fresh flowers from suppliers to ensure stock is replenished regularly.
• Identify common problems associated with flowers such as wilting or pest infestations and take appropriate action to rectify the issue.
• Maintain flower shop facilities in a clean and organized manner.
• Keep abreast of industry trends by reading trade publications or attending workshops or seminars as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in floristry preferred but not required
• Proven experience working as a Florist; minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Ability to work with various types of flowers including roses, lilies, tulips, daisies etc. • Proficient in using flower care products such as water additives, preservatives etc.
• Knowledge of color theory and design techniques preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service at all times. • Willingness to work nights or weekends when necessary. • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) repeatedly throughout the day. • Foreigners are welcome to apply for this position; Salary will be paid in accordance with UAE laws & regulations.
