Optometrist Vacancy - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision, have a professional attitude, and possess excellent communication skills.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a related field
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Eligible to obtain a license as an Optometrist in Kuwait
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Willingness to consider immigrants for the position
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Examine patients’ eyes for visual acuity and other signs of ocular diseases.
• Measure patients’ eyes using advanced equipment such as ophthalmoscopes, tonometers, and autorefractors.
• Interpret test results and diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc.
• Provide advice on suitable eyewear and contact lenses based on the patient’s needs and lifestyle.
• Advise patients on eye care including diet tips, lifestyle habits that help maintain healthy vision, etc.

Desirable Skills:
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with patients
• Ability to provide clear instructions on eye care regimens
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy

Salary: 1600/month
