Welder (Doha)

Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Welder to join our team in Doha. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a challenging environment and be part of a successful team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding both metallic and non-metallic components with the highest quality standards. The salary for the position is 1700 QAR per month. We are willing to consider applications from immigrants as well.

Job Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints or engineering drawings to determine material requirements and job instructions
• Operate welding machines such as arc welders, spot welders, gas welders to fabricate or repair metal components
• Cut or bend metal tubes and pipes using hand tools such as saws, hammers, torches etc.
• Inspect completed work pieces for accuracy of welding and adherence to specifications
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational course in welding technology preferred but not necessary
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a welder is preferred but not required
Required Experience:
• Proven experience in operating arc welders, spot welders, gas welders etc.
• Knowledge of various metals like steel, aluminum etc., and their properties • Excellent manual dexterity and hand eye coordination • Strong problem solving skills • Ability to read blueprints or engineering drawings accurately
