Job Responsibilities:
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations including menu planning, food preparation, sanitation standards, staff supervision, budgeting, purchasing supplies and equipment, inventory control and scheduling. The Executive Chef will also be expected to maintain high standards of food safety and ensure that all recipes are followed exactly as written. As the Executive Chef you will be responsible for creating innovative dishes that excite our customers while staying within budget constraints.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a degree or certificate from a culinary school or college along with 5-7 years of experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a high-end establishment. Additionally, they should have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees while keeping up with industry trends in order to stay ahead of competitors. Strong communication skills both verbal & written as well as knowledge of food safety regulations is essential for this role.
