We are looking for an experienced Accountant for a full-time position in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial records, preparing accounts and tax returns, analyzing trends and providing financial advice. You should have excellent mathematical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and other documents as required.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis.
• Analyze budgeting and forecasting data to provide accurate financial reports.
• Track expenses to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation in all areas of operations.
• Prepare reports on audit findings for senior management review.
• Provide guidance on complex tax issues such as VAT regulations or corporate taxes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required; CPA certification is preferred but not essential • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role; international experience is a plus • Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally ERP 9; experience with SAP is a plus • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Good communication skills both verbal and written in English
