Job Summary:

Job Requirements:
• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiarity with industry’s best practices
• An up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare food items as per recipes & menus including cold appetizers & salads
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standards & specifications
• Adhere to health & safety regulations when handling food & kitchen appliances
• Plan menus based on market availability & customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness & orderliness in the kitchen at all times
• Monitor stock levels & report any shortages to the relevant personnel
