The successful Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory tests and procedures, using appropriate techniques. He/she will need to ensure that samples are handled and stored correctly, with patient safety being of utmost importance. Other duties include preparing specimens for analysis, labeling sample containers accurately, and submitting specimens to the laboratory for testing in accordance with established protocols.

The successful candidate should also have excellent communication skills as they may need to interact with patients before and after the blood draw process. They should demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail when working with patient information.
