Job Description:
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and minimal work experience. This individual will be responsible for performing engineering calculations, designing plans and layouts, supervising construction projects, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The successful candidate will be an excellent problem-solver with strong analytical skills and ability to develop cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Developing plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, test results and other data to plan projects
• Estimating material costs and completing cost analysis for each project
• Writing specifications for materials to be used in construction projects
• Supervising construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Enforcing adherence to applicable codes of practice and safety standards
• Investigating the causes of structural damage or failure of structures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering roles is preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of CAD software is essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
