Librarian job in Al-Kuwait Kuwait for foreigners


We are looking for an organized and meticulous Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. We are offering a competitive salary of 1800 per month. Ideally, you should have a degree in Library Science or equivalent experience, but we are also willing to consider applicants with no prior experience in the field.

As a Librarian, your main responsibility will be to manage and update the library's collection and ensure that all materials are readily available for users. You will be expected to catalog all new books, periodicals, and other materials according to standard procedures and update existing records. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering new books from publishers/distributors and arranging for the delivery of requested materials. Furthermore, you will need to ensure that all books are correctly shelved and available for users to access; as well as answer patron inquiries about library materials and services.

You should have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while paying attention to detail. You should also be familiar with computers and basic office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Furthermore, excellent interpersonal skills is essential as you will need to interact effectively with patrons of different ages and backgrounds.
