Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tracking and analyzing financial data, and providing financial reports to management. The Accountant will also ensure that the company’s accounting practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. Additional responsibilities include:

• Maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling bank statements, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
• Preparing month-end closing entries and related journal entries.
• Assisting in the preparation of audits, budgets, and forecasts.
• Developing and enforcing internal controls to ensure accuracy of accounting information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role required
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
