Job Responsibilities

As an Optometrist, your key responsibilities will include: performing eye exams including visual acuity tests; prescribing glasses or contact lenses; diagnosing eye diseases; treating ocular problems such as glaucoma; educating patients on proper eye care; providing consultations regarding vision problems or disorders; maintaining accurate records of patient visits and treatment plans.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Optometry or Ophthalmology from an accredited university; valid license to practice optometry in Abu-Dhabi; at least 3 years of experience in the field; excellent communication skills; excellent organizational skills; strong knowledge of optometric procedures, medications, equipment and techniques; knowledge of health safety regulations; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
