Mason Job in Abu Dhabi

We are seeking a Mason to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the construction industry and demonstrate a high level of expertise in masonry techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, stone, and other materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches, and other structures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and patching surfaces prior to laying bricks and stones.
• Measure and mark guidelines on work surfaces to ensure accurate placement of materials.
• Cut bricks or tiles with powered saws or tile cutters as necessary.
• Smooth mortar between bricks to achieve uniform joints using trowels or other tools.
• Lay bricks, stone, tiles, and other materials according to specifications while adhering to safety regulations.
• Mix mortar with hoes or mixers as instructed by supervisors.
• Install anchors for reinforcing material in masonry structures as needed.
• Seal joints with mortar compounds to provide weatherproofing protection.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction industry; masonry experience preferred
• Knowledge of different types of masonry techniques; ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Good physical strength and stamina; ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions; safety conscious at all times

Salary: 1500 AED/month (We are ready to consider a foreigner)
