Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful applicant will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry structures as directed by the project supervisor. The position offers a salary of 1500 per month and is open to foreign applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lay brick or stone walls, floors, columns, fireplaces, arches and other structures as per the project specifications
- Inspect materials delivered on site to ensure they meet standards
- Cut bricks, stone or concrete blocks according to design specifications
- Assemble scaffolding equipment for access to heights
- Create mortar mixes with appropriate consistency for the job at hand
- Mix cement, sand and water to create mortar
- Clean up work area after completion of the job with proper disposal of waste material
- Follow all safety regulations when operating tools or machinery
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- At least one year of experience as a Mason or similar trade is preferred
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as trowels, hammers and saws safely
- Knowledge of construction techniques and building regulations
- Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time
