Job Summary:

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. They should also have knowledge of the use of the various tools needed for masonry work, such as trowels, chisels, hammers, and saws. A valid driver's license is also required for this position.

Responsibilities:
The job responsibilities of a Mason include laying bricks, stones, or concrete blocks to create walls and other structures. They must also cut or shape stone or brick as needed using power tools such as grinders and saws. Additionally they will be responsible for mixing mortar or plaster according to specifications, installing expansion joints in walls or floors, and finishing surfaces with compaction tools or trowels. They may also be required to inspect existing structures for any damages or defects that need to be addressed.
