Job Description:
The Instrument Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic instruments used in industrial settings. The technician will also troubleshoot issues with instrumentation systems and diagnose malfunctions in equipment. They will install new equipment as needed and provide technical support to customers. The technician will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of the instruments.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree in Electronics is preferred
• Previous experience as an instrument technician is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of electrical systems, electronics components, circuitry design principles & schematics
• Ability to read blueprints & use measuring tools such as calipers & micrometers
• Good communication skills & organizational abilities
• Ability to use hand tools such as drills, pliers & screwdrivers
• Willingness to work overtime if needed
