Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide companionship to elderly clients in their homes or other care facilities
- Assist clients with basic activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, etc.
- Monitor the health conditions of clients by taking vital signs periodically throughout shift (blood pressure, temperature etc)
- Follow detailed care plans for each client while providing safe, respectful care at all times
- Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by their physician
- Perform household tasks such as laundry, meal preparation or light cleaning when needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (required) - Previous experience as a Caregiver (preferred) - Compassionate attitude towards caring for elderly clients - Ability to remain calm under pressure - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Valid driver’s license (preferred but not required)
