Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Light Driver is to deliver goods safely and on time within the assigned area. This includes loading, unloading, operating, maintaining, inspecting, and cleaning the assigned vehicle while following all relevant safety protocols. Additionally, you will need to maintain accurate documentation of every delivery such as receipts or delivery forms. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all vehicle maintenance is up-to-date according to company regulations.

Qualifications
A valid driver’s license is required for this position along with at least one year of verifiable driving experience in light vehicles (vans/trucks). Knowledge of local roads is essential as well as excellent customer service skills. Candidates should have basic mechanical knowledge as well as being familiar with safety regulations governing the transportation industry. Previous experience working with a logistics provider is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
