Pharmacist Job Vacancy in Doha

We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team in Doha. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic health care environment where you can make an impact and help improve patient care.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Qatar or ability to obtain one
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals, FDA regulations, record-keeping requirements, and pharmacy law
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency using computers and software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to consider applicants with no prior experience as a Pharmacist

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications prescribed by physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, or other authorized providers in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions filled by verifying information on prescription labels against original orders from physicians or other authorized providers
• Monitor drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, dosage administration instructions, patient compliance issues, therapeutic duplication issues etc.
• Advise customers on the selection of over-the-counter medications as needed
• Develop knowledge of pharmacy products and services by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; maintaining professional memberships; participating in professional societies; etc.

Salary & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1600 QAR per month plus incentives based on performance. Additional benefits include medical insurance coverage for self and family along with other benefits as per Qatar Labour Law.
