Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This position has a salary of 1600, with the possibility of further consideration for immigrants. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services to customers in a professional and efficient manner. As part of this role, the Pharmacist will be required to dispense medications, provide advice on their use, monitor patient safety in relation to drug interactions, advise on the choice of over-the-counter medication and provide support to other members of the pharmacy team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with legal regulations
• Provide advice on the use of over-the-counter medication
• Monitor patient safety in relation to drug interactions
• Identify potential drug interactions or contraindications
• Develop strategies to ensure effective stock management
• Liaise with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information is provided
• Answer customer inquiries regarding medication usage.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Ensure that all controlled drugs are handled appropriately following legal guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university or college
• 1 years’ experience as a Pharmacist within a retail setting or similar environment • Knowledgeable about current pharmaceutical practices and standards of care • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately • Proficient computer skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Salary
The salary for this position is 1600 with possible further consideration for immigrants.
